Chicken Soup Anyone??

Hey guys, this is my first post since I changed the theme… I think it looks more Newspaper like. So, I read Chicken Soup For The Soul, and I decided to share some stuff I’ve read with you guys. This first one is a poem, written by: Whitney M. Baldwin

Best Friends

I thought she was my best friend — The best one I’ve ever had — Instead I found out the truth, and what I learned was really sad

We still call each other friends — Bit I feel we’re far apart — Though we see each other everyday, I have a broken heart

She has made new friends — And I have made some too — We are talking less and less, And inside I’m cold & blue

Each and every night I pray — The she will finally see — ow much I want our friendship back, how much see means to me.

I like that, it reminded me of an old best friend that ended up being my mean girl.   I don’t think they still make new books, but I have a few different ones. That poem can be found in Chicken Soup For The Preteen Soul.

That’s it for now, I will try to keep it going. So, please let me know if you like it.
